Some of the special features L.P.P. has that very few, if any, other daycare's have is our wonderful eight (8) seat table, where the provider can sit and have the attention of as many as eight children at once, which comes in handy when feeding, while doing crafts, and during learning time, as it helps keep the children's interest longer, and cuts down on disruptions.
Another is our unique custom six (6) seat deluxe stroller with sun protector awning. This provides us the opportunity to leave the facility with ALL the children in our care, from infant to preschooler for needed walks around the block.
We also own and operate a lovely marionette theater and over 50 different PELHAM character marionettes, all the way from England, that we use for birthday parties, fund-raises, and special events during the year.
We have an outdoor sink for hand washing after our many messy crafts and meals, and a water fountain
too,
so the children can stay cool and hydrated during our outdoor playtime.
There is also an alarm on our entrance/exit gate as well as twenty-four hour surveillence cameras for added security.
This helps protect the children and property!
L.P.P. has a charming little "zen" garden directly next to where the children play under the covered patio and four (4) fruit trees on the property. We offer some light gardening to the age appropriate children, letting them help water, dig holes, and plant small cuttings of plants and flowers.
